Ingredients: 1 kg Chicken 1 cup Curd 1 tbsp Coriander seed powder 1 tsp Garam Masala powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Garlic paste 1 tsp Ginger paste Salt 2 tbsp Ghee 1 Star Anise 1 Cinnamon stick 5 Cloves 10 Peppercorns 3 Onions, chopped 1/2 tsp Ginger paste 1/2 tsp Garlic paste 4 Green chillies, chopped 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder 2 Tomatoes, chopped 1 cup Water 2-3 tbsp Oil 1 Onion, sliced Coriander leaves for garnishing Method of preparation: In a bowl of chicken, add curd, coriander seed powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, mix it well and keep it aside. Heat a wok, add ghee, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, pepper corn, once the spices start leaving aroma, add onions. Saute the onions till they turn translucent. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli, saute it till the raw smell goes off. Add turmeric, garam masala, mix well and add tomatoes. Saute it till the oil separates. Add the marinated chicken and saute it on high flame. Add water, cover it with lid and cook ill the chicken is done. Add oil in a vessel, add onion and saute it till its nice and brown. Remove the chicken is a serving plate and garnish it with fried onions, coriander leaves and chilly oil. Our Dahi Wala Chicken is ready.
